First Bathroom Visit After Giving Birth
The first visit to the toilet is something you didn't look forward to as you had heard many horror stories about it being painful, but there are actually tips and help you can use! Among other things, we have developed our fantastic Plume intimate shower to help during toilet visits after childbirth.
– When you urinate, lean a little more forward so that any stitches do not get touched by the urine.
– Lean back slightly when you defecate to apply extra pressure that helps the bowel empty.
– Rinse with plenty of water afterwards (our intimate shower makes this easy). Both to prevent infections and also to provide cooling and relief if it stings.
– Many are also afraid that it will hurt. Prepare with pads, wet wipes, softening ointment and try to relax.
– If you are swollen in the genital area, it can feel good to hold something cold against the swelling after a toilet visit. Some crushed ice well wrapped in a towel usually works.
