Plume – because all women deserve quality postpartum care ♡

The best thing about Plume is that we know how it feels to be pregnant, and to be newly postpartum with a swollen perineum, bloody pads, and pain everywhere.

We also know that you are now facing sleepless nights, baby spit-up in your hair, and most likely moments of worry about whether you are really doing everything you should. You don't need to worry, you are most likely the very best mom you can be for your baby.

Our goal is for you to also be the very best mom for yourself!

Since we have been there ourselves and questioned whether it really has to hurt unnecessarily or be complicated to manage intimate hygiene after childbirth, we have developed products that we want all new moms to benefit from.

Our products are specially designed to help you with your recovery after childbirth and to allow you to take care of yourself and your incredible body in a gentle and effective way!

We want your first time as a mom to be wonderful and not for everyday things, like going to the bathroom, to have to hurt.

The Story of Plume

"It all started when I had just given birth. With a sore and swollen perineum, the advice from healthcare was to stand in the shower and clean the area every time I changed a pad, which was many times a day in the beginning. It was painful and very exhausting. A friend of mine told me that she had bought a so-called 'peri-bottle' in the USA. She gave it to me and said; fill it with lukewarm water and use it every time you go to the toilet instead of standing in the shower multiple times a day. I tried it and WOW – it was so much more convenient!

After trying this bottle, my thoughts started to spin. How could this product not exist in Sweden when we are at the forefront with so many other things? I also realized that there is a gap in society. Why don't we talk about postpartum and why don't we support the new mother more?

A new dream was awakened, and I felt that it was my duty to help women who struggle after giving birth, just as I had. With a 2-month-old baby, I started planning to develop a similar bottle to the one I had tried, and this was the beginning of Plume."
